In the event that you decide to cancel your tour guide reservation you will not be eligible to receive a full refund of your 10% deposit. If a reservation cannot be confirmed, your 10% deposit will be fully refunded. Cancellation request must be submitted to tour guide by email, not by telephone.
In some cases, the tour guide may cancel a tour due to weather or other circumstances. Every tour guide reserves the right to cancel a booking prior to your tour departure date and in the event that the tour guide cancels your tour you will be eligible to receive a full refund of your 10% deposit.
ITG is only financially responsible for the 10% deposit which you make through the DiscoverTourGuides site. A refund of any payments that were made to your tour guide prior to your tour departure date is to be arranged with your tour guide. The tour guide may offer cancellation terms that are more generous than the ones outlined above. Please confirm the individual tour guide cancellation policies with a message from the tour guide.
Discover Tour Guides is not responsible for any incidental expenses incurred as a result of the purchase of your tour such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights etc.

Sightseeing Tours Cancellation Policy
Your purchase will initiate a reservation process. We will confirm with you via email within one to two business days. The cancellation fee will take into effect once you submit your reservation. If your purchase can not be confirmed for any reason, we will fully refund your purchase without any additional charges. We recommend each customer to fully evaluate the cancellation policy and also consider purchasing a Travel Insurance policy. If you'd like to consider purchasing Travel Insurance, please review the Travel Insurance Packages.
•All hotel and tour schedules are arranged ahead of time. Any person failing to appear on the day of departure shall not be refunded.

•The Cancellation Fees listed here will apply to all reservations, unless the tour booked has specific rates or fees listed under "Special Notes".
•No refund shall be given for any portions of the tour unused by the customer after departure of the tour regardless of any possible reasons.
•Airfare is completely non-refundable and non-changeable for tours when airfare is inclusive.
•Hotel extension is non-refundable once it is confirmed.
•We do not accept changing tour departure date if departing within 7 days.
•All cancellations must be made directly with DiscoverTourGuides, not with providers.
•Some tours may require a minimum number of people to operate. The affected customer will be fully refunded or may choose a similar tour product as a substitute. However, please keep in mind that should this happen, it would be under very special and rare circumstances, because we will try our best to accommodate our customers travel needs.
•In most cases, reservations paid by Wire Transfer, Cash Deposit, Money Order/Traveler's Check/Cashier's Check, will be refunded via methods such as PayPal or Check. For refunds processed by Wire Transfer, any associated Wire Transfer Fee will be deducted from the overall refund amount.
•We will process your cancellation/refund request within 1-7 business days. Please note that we will NOT acknowledge voice mail or email cancellation.

We need to know exactly why you are requesting a cancellation and if you are able to receive a credit. Please provide us all the details needed in order to assist in the evaluation of your request.
Amendment Fees: Any changes (i.e. date, location, tour, etc.) made to a reservation after successfully submitting the order online, will be subject to a minimum $30 Amendment Fee (per change). The $30 Amendment Fee also applies to such changes where an additional passenger is added onto an existing reservation. Seats will be confirmed within one to two business days. To cancel a customer from a reservation, the regular Cancellation Policy will apply.
The $30 amendment fee is a minimum tour change fee. If changes are too frequent and urgent, additional fees may apply to alter or change the tour in addition to the $30 amendment fee. Paying the $30 amendment fee does not guarantee a change can and will be made.
To cancel a passenger free of charge from a reservation with promotions such as "Buy 2 get 1 Free or Buy 2 Get 2 Free" within 7 days of departure date, please refer to the "Pricing" tab of your product page for penalty fees. If cancellation falls beyond 7 days of departure date, the $30 Amendment Fee will be applied, per person.
